Ben Shelton, the American with a booming lefty serve, is the top seed at the Atlanta Open. This event holds special significance for him—it’s the last edition of the tournament.
Interestingly, his father, Bryan Shelton, was the longtime head coach of the Georgia Tech women’s tennis team. Georgia Tech serves as the external practice facility for the Atlanta Open, making this a true home event for Ben. Last year, he faced an upset by Shang Juncheng in Atlanta, but he’s coming off a strong performance at Wimbledon, reaching the fourth round.
Here is the video of one of his training.
