Matteo Berrettini wins a stunning title in Stuttgart without dropping a single set during the event and after being under the radar until the final.
The Italian played a fantastic final to beat the rising star Felix Auger Aliassime 6-4 7-6 (11) after saving 5 set points in the second set breaker.
This is Berrettini’s 3rd career title after Gstaad (2018) and Budapest (2019).
After this tournament, Matteo goes 8 places up in the rankings to be he new world on.22 (career high). More to come.
