Rafael Nadal expressed his elation at reaching the final of a tournament for the first time since the 2022 French Open in a YouTube video segment titled “‘A great feeling’. After winning four consecutive matches, Nadal, who had not accomplished this feat in about two years, acknowledged the challenges he faced during this period, including a hip surgery he underwent almost a year ago. Despite the ongoing recovery process, Nadal remained determined to improve and was looking forward to playing better in the upcoming final.

Rafael is currently competing in Bastad where he bested the world no.461 Leo Borg 6-3 6-4, the world no.42 Cameron Norrie 6-4 6-4, the world no.36 Mariano Navone 6-7(2) 7-5 7-5 and the world no.130 Duje Ajdukovic 4-6 6-3 6-4.
Rafael Nadal will play the world no.51 Nuno Borges in the final on Sunday at 2:00 pm on CENTRE COURT. In the past, they have never competed against each other so far in top tournaments.
