At the 2024 Bastad Open, Rafael Nadal’s box was beaming with happiness. Rafa Jr. and his wife Maria Francisca Perello recently joined the Spaniard at the Swedish event. Then, Nadal’s adorable family shared a precious moment ahead of his scheduled Tour comeback.

Nadal was playing in the ATP 250 event for the first time since winning the competition in 2005. In the second round of the tournament on Thursday he defeated Cameron Norrie in a dominant straight-set fashion. Afterwards, Rafa’s wife and son responded to his great on-court performance beautifully.

His wife and son could be seen supporting the Spanish legend as Nadal moved around his opponent in round two. To considerable fanfare, Rafa Jr. was seen smiling broadly as he watched his famous father secure a quarterfinal matchup with Mariano Navone.
