In Padel, Eva Longoria has touched down. With over 10 million Instagram followers, the actress has made playing the racket her new hobby. She made her Hexagon Cup debut in February of last year as the owner of the ElevenEleven Team USA, but she has since gone one step further.
The Texas native took part in the Star Padel Slam, a charitable event, this past Tuesday in Marbella. A portion of the proceeds from the competition, which took place at the Nueva Alcantara Marbella paddle tennis club, will go toward the Casa Ángeles initiative of the Global Gift Foundation.
One aspect of the project is a multipurpose center that will provide children with uncommon and chronic diseases with state-of-the-art therapies and treatments.
Eva told Efe that “everything is ready for the Global Gift summer gala,” the foundation’s main event held in Spain, and expressed her happiness with the response the event has received.
Navarro, Cardona and the other celebrities
Football player Marcos Alonso, Paquito Navarro, Gemma Triay, Juan Martin Diaz, and Pablo Cardona were among the others who expressed interest in attending. Offering individual therapy with an interdisciplinary staff of occupational therapists, psychologists, speech therapists, and physiotherapists, Casa Ángeles supports around 500 families and close to 800 children.
