At only 21 years old, Carlos Alcaraz has already won four Grand Slams and his second Wimbledon title in SW19, solidifying his position as one of tennis’s most exciting young prospects.

The way Alcaraz has come onto the scene and accomplished what so many of the generations before him have been unable to do at his age is amazing. But even with everything he has achieved, Alcaraz confirms that there is still a rising talent ahead of him in the rankings.

Alcaraz answered the question of who is the best player thus far this year, just hours after winning the Wimbledon 2024 trophy. He talked about it and said: “Sinner is the most consistent player. He has won a Grand Slam and has reached the semifinals in all the tournaments he has played, except for this one. He still deserves to be in that position. I have won significant tournaments, hopefully, it continues and we will see at the end of the year who is ahead.”
