‘I totally get it’. This was Serena’s comment about Lisiky’s injury. The American herself has just come back from a series of injuries and she can truly understand the frustration (and the scare) generated by this kind of situations.
The match was not really tricky for Serena that was cruising to win an easy 1st set when Sabine fell and injured her ankle. At that point it was a clear game over.
Serena will play in the semis Sam Stosur that defeated another Williams (Venus) in 3 difficult sets in 2h and 17minutes. Last time in Miami it was Serena in straight sets (7-5 6-3)
On the other side of the draw Safarova (6-3 6-3 to Zvonareva) will play surprising Hercog that, after an incredible victory over Marion Bartoli, trashed Petrova 6-1 6-2
