Roger Federer has been playing tennis at the highest level for almost 20 years, and he has never got a serious injury so far on a court. According to the Swiss Legend, he got injured his knee in an incredibly weird way, and that didn’t happen any close to a tennis court.
What happened?
Roger explained “I think I was going to run a bath for the girls. I made a very simple movement, turned back, heard a click in my knee. I went to the zoo. My leg was swollen.”
The world no.3 explained how shocking was this episode for him “I thought I was going to get through my career without any. It was a big shock and, yeah, disappointing.”
Roger is now in Miami where he will play his first match after the operation against Del Potro.
