After defeating Novak Djokovic in the Final on July 14, Carlos Alcaraz rushed over to the centre-court stands to celebrate his Wimbledon 2024 men’s singles title defence with his family.

Although it appeared that Alcaraz would easily retain the championship, Djokovic made a strong comeback late in the final, but ultimately fell short against the Spaniard 6-2, 6-2, and 7-6 (7-4). With the victory, the Spanish player became the sixth person to win Wimbledon and Roland Garros in the same year.

Alcaraz wasted no time in jumping over the seats and even the commentary box to get to his family and squad in time for a group hug to celebrate winning the third-set tie-breaker 7–4.
