Genie Bouchard will not have a great memory about her appearance in Miami. The Canadian no.1 crashes out in the 1st round at the hands of world no.85 Lucie Hradecka 6-4 3-6 6-2.
After the match Lucie commented “I’m so happy. It was definitely a tough match. I started very well and then at the end of the first set, I started to be a little more nervy and tight.”
Lucie will play the next round against Roberta Vinci. Not much to say for Genie who has to be back to the drawing board…. once again!
