Agnieszka Radwanska and Vika Azarenka are the big “climbers” in the WTA rankings.
Radwanska
Aga has reached the semifinal in Indian Wells where she was defeated by her nemesis Serena Williams. Reaching the final 4 has helped her to overtake Angelique Kerber as the new world no.2. Still a long way to go to catch Serena for the first spot.
Azarenka
Vika had an inspiring run in Indian Wells. The former world no.1 defeated Serena Williams in straight sets to win the title. Her run in the desert allowed Vika to gain 7 places in the rankings and be the new world no.8. Aiming at the first spot.
Konta
British no.1 Johanna Konta keeps her run in the rankings to climb up 3 places and reach the 23rd spot (career high). Breaking i the top20 not impossible.
