Novak Djokovic is once again too much for Rafael Nadal.
The world no.1 defeats Rafa in the Indian Wells final 7-6 (5) 6-2 in 1 hour and 58 minutes. The match was much more even than the score line may suggest. The Spaniard wasted the opportunity to win the opening set in 2 occasions: firstly, when he failed to hold serve soon after he broke Nole at the beginning of the opener (2-0); secondly, when he couldn’t convert a set point (5-4) on Nole’s serve. After these 2 opportunities it was Nole to roar back and win the set at the breaker.
In the second set, Nadal managed to stay with Nole till the 4th game (2-all), then the Serbian took off to win 4 consecutive games and reach his 6 final in Indian Wells.
