In response to Novak Djokovic’s criticism about the Wimbledon audience, John McEnroe applauded the Serbian player, claiming he has seen at least 100 instances of disrespect in his career.
The best tennis player of all time, according to the legend, is Djokovic because he can handle the toughest heat.
Following his victory in the fourth round of Wimbledon, Djokovic took to social media to criticize the supporters, saying they had been using his opponent Holger Rune’s surname as a justification to mock him.
McEnroe praised Djokovic and said: “Don’t you think there’s been at least 100 matches over the course of the last 10-15 years that Djokovic has been disrespected because of how good he is? What has he done that’s so bad? Name something. What is it, he wants it? He competes as hard as anyone who’s ever competed. Is it the look, where he’s from?”
He added: “He’s like the Darth Vader compared to two of the classiest acts we’ve seen play tennis – Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. Who can compare to them in terms of what they brought to the table? Nobody – and then this guy Djokovic spoils the party. So then how about respecting him after all this? He’s by far the guy who’s taken the worst heat and that’s why I would say he’s the greatest that’s ever played.”

LWWWWWWWWW At the moment ranked no.2, the Serbian played his last match on the 8th of July when he overcame world no.15 Holger Rune 6-3 6-4 6-2 in the 4th round in Wimbledon (draw).
Currently, during this year the Serbian has a 22-6 record. Novak Djokovic’s most significant performance of the current year was reaching the semifinal at the Australian Open, Monte Carlo and Geneva.
Novak Djokovic will fight against the world no.9 Alex De Minaur in the quarter on Wednesday at 3:30 pm on Centre Court. Their actual record is 2-1 for Djokovic.

Djokovic will compete next in Montreal (National Bank Open). He will begin to play the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 5th of August.
