Sascha Zverev scores one of the best wins of his young career against Grigor Dimitrov after a hard fought three setter.
The German had to rally in the 3rd set to recover a 1-3 deficit and win 6-4 3-6 7-5 after 2 hours and 20 minutes.
Zverev. I tried to stay calm
Sascha commented “I tried to stay as calm as I could. Grigor played well for an hour or so, from the middle of the second set until the middle of the third. He didn’t give me many chances, but I knew I would get my opportunities. And I used them well.
“Grigor is such a good player. He has so much potential to really do well. We will see [this matchup] a lot in the future.”
Next vs. Simon
Zverev will play Simon in the 3rd round. The head to head is 1-0 for the German, who has defeated Simon this year in Rotterdam 7-5 3-6 7-6 (4).

Grigor seems to be done. Another talent that could not succeed. To be fair he was unlucky because the early part of his career has clashed with the big4, but now he can`t make it also with the youngster. This must be very depressing for him
