Novak Djokovic is full of confidence after another great start of the season. The Serbinator has won 2 tournaments and he has a 14-1 record in 2016 (and the only game he lost it was when he retired for an eye infection).
Djokovic. Why I am comfortable in Indian Wells
Nole has just arrived in Indian Wells where he is the defending champion and he has won 4 titles. The world no.1 explains why he had so much success in this event “The conditions are pretty suitable to my style of play. I like to have a little bit more time to construct the point. I feel comfortable with the speed of the court and the surface. Especially in the afternoon and night matches, when it’s a bit slower.
The ball bounces high. I grew up on clay. I grew up with a high bounce. I feel comfortable playing on these courts.”
Nole will kick start his title defense against either Fratangelo or most probably Gabashvili.
