Genie Bouchard is still trying to recover from the terrible concussion she has suffered at the last US Open.
The Canadian Beauty has already reached 2 finals in 2016 (Hobart and Kuala Lumpur), but she is still battling with her health.
During the last final in Kuala Lumpur against Elina Svitolina, Genie had to call for a medical time-out because of dizziness, but that didn’t prevent her to compete.

Genie commented “I was struggling with my energy levels towards the end. The medical staff also strongly advised me not to continue during the second set, but there was no way I was going to retire in a final. I think I gave it my all and I fought well. Now I just need to go on to my next tournament and do well there”
