Dominic Thiem and Kristina Mladenovic have been dating for more than 2 years and they are currently the golden couple of tennis.
Both managed to go extremely deep at this French Open as Dominic will face Rafael Nadal in the final while Kiki will compete for the title in doubles. Curiously, they are going to play their finals back to back on the same court as Mladenovic will side with Timea Babos at 11.30 am on Sunday against Duan Yingying and Zheng Saisai on Court Philippe Chatrier and Dominic will take on Rafa at 3 pm on the same court.
Mladenovic to be world no.1 in doubles
Kiki will also be the new world no.1 in doubles starting from next week and Dominic is extremely happy with that to comment
“I am very proud of her. That’s an incredible achievement and it shows, how well she can play doubles. I always said that I can learn a lot from her in that aspect.”
It’s an interesting comment from Thiem that is an extremely solid player from the baseline, but he should add more runs at the net in your game to be more complete and add more options.
