The draw of the upcoming ATP250 in Stuttgart is out, and the new generation seems to be in pole position.
The 8 seeds are Zverev, Khachanov, Medvedev, Basilashvili, Monfils, Raonic, Auger-Aliassime, and Shapovalov. The biggest floater is obviously Nick Kyrgios.
Here the projected path of 4 of the most interesting players.
Alexander Zverev’s draw
Sascha accepted a last minute’s wild card as he did in Geneve where eventually he won the competition. Being seeded no.1, the German sensation has a bye in the first round. This is his projected path:
R1 – bye
R2 – Millman
1/4 – Auger-Aliassime
1/2 – Basilashvili/Raonic
Denis Shapovalov’s draw
The young Canadian will try to bounce back from a rather disastrous campaign on clay where he registered a not-so-great 2-6 win-loss record. Playing on grass will be a completely different story for the youngster as it’s probably his favorite surface. This is Denis’ projected path in Stuttgart:
R1 – Struff
R2 – Kohlschreiber
1/4 – Medvedev
1/2 – Kyrgios/Khachanov/Monfils
Felix Auger-Aliassime’s draw
Currently ranked no.22, the 18-year-old had to skip the French Open for a groin injury that he picked up during his run in Lyon where he lost in the final to Paire. This is Felix’projected path in Stuttgart:
R1 – Gulbis
R2 – Simon
1/4 – Zverev
1/2 – Kyrgios/Khachanov/Monfils
Nick Kyrgios’ draw

1/4 – Monfils
