At 20 years of age, Stefanos Tsitsipas is definitely the most intriguing youngster on tour.
The Greek sensation is having a fantastic season after he won 2 titles (Marseille and Estoril), he reached the final in Madrid and the semifinals at the Australian Open and in Rome.
Stefanos lost in the 4th round at the French Open after an epic against Stan Wawrinka, and he is now preparing for the grass season as he will commence his run in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
Currently ranked no.6, the Greek has the opportunity to break in the top5 if Dominic Thiem will not reach the final at the Roland Garros as he was pointed out by himself as per the following tweet.
Just had a short chat with Tsitsipas after his afternoon practice at the academy, his first since #RG19.
I brought Djokovic-Thiem into the conversation and he said, “By the way if Thiem loses, I’m breaking into top 5 on Monday for 10 points.”
He cares about that ranking thing.
