Zverev joins Kyrgios, Shapovalov, Auger-Aliassime in Stuttgart

    ATP STUTTGART. Sascha Zverev will lead the draw in Germany

    Alexander Zverev decided to accept a wildcard in Stuttgart to join a strong line-up with exciting players such as Nick Kyrgios, Denis Shapovalov, and Felix Auger-Aliassime.

    Currently ranked no.5, Sascha is finding his way back after a disappointing start of the season. The German sensation won the title in Geneva at the end of May and he reached the quarters at the French Open.

    Zverev’s statement

    Sascha released the following statement

    “I am happy to play again at the MercedesCup in Stuttgart. In the last few weeks I have regained confidence. I now hope for successful tournaments on grass. I love to play in Germany, in front of my fans.”

    The event will take place next week and the defending champion is Roger Federer that will not play this year as he has he had a deep run at the Roland Garros.
