Just 19 days after undergoing surgery on his right knee, Novak Djokovic appeared to be in excellent spirits as he took to the Wimbledon practice courts.

The seven-time Wimbledon champion appeared to be moving easily as he trained out with Federico Coria of Argentina. However, Djokovic had joint support on the right knee, where he had suffered a medial meniscus tear.

The backroom team of Djokovic had earlier overseen footwork routines to assess the Serb’s knee as he was put through his paces in the warm-up area. Djokovic is still yet to confirm if he will take part in this year’s tournament, which begins next week.

Djokovic talked about his chances of playing at Wimbledon and said: “I’m going to take it day by day. If I know that I can play close to my maximum, or at maximum, then I’ll play. If not, then I’ll give somebody else a chance to play.”
