Juan Martin Del Potro had a rather successful come back to reach the semifinal in Delray Beach after being absent from the tour for 1 year.
The Argentine was supposed to play also in Acapulco the week after, but he had to retire because he was too tired and he was struggling.

Juan Martin commented “Everything aches but I missed the competition. I enjoyed my comeback, I was mentally prepared to lose early, but it has not happened. Now, without any pressure, I take my time and my goal is to reduce gradually the gap with the ones who are stronger than me. I have had strange feelings in my first mach, but with every day that passes, wrist is adapting”.
