Jannik Sinner’s journey from No. 1 to the top was a true hero’s tale of triumphing against adversity. He acknowledges that he wouldn’t be where he is today without the support of his family, describing how his two working parents allowed him to form a close relationship with his grandparents, who later on served as a crucial source of support for him.
Sinner talked about his working parents and his early years before extending a warm greeting to his supporters. He participated in a variety of sports before beginning his tennis career, but fortunately had understanding grandparents who made an effort to make sure he had everything he needed.
Sinner talked about his parents and said: “If you imagine coming from here. Tennis player is It’s very, very strange. I went home to my parents’ place, but my parents’ place, they’re, they were always working so I have my house here and here is the other house with Grandma and Grandpa and they were, they always cooked for me.”
Just nine days have passed since Sinner became the first tennis player from his nation to hold the ATP No. 1 ranking in the world. Sinner added: “I think the reaction in Italy will be great. They gave me so much energy, especially in the moments when I was struggling. Sharing this moment with them and with all the people who support me, it’s amazing, I was always looking forward to giving something back to the people who helped me and sharing success with them. And now I can share this World No. 1, which is the ultimate goal for every player, with the whole country. It’s one of the best feelings.”

WWWWWLWWWW Currently the world no.1, the Italian played his last match on the 23rd of June when he defeated world no.7 Hubert Hurkacz 7-6(8) 7-6(2) in the final in Halle to win his 15th career title.
During this season Sinner has a compiled 38-3 win-loss record. Sinner conquered 4 titles in 2024 at the Australian Open, Rotterdam, Miami and Halle.
Sinner will compete next at the Wimbledon (Wimbledon). He will start to play the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 1st of July.
