Bencic, Vinci at career high. Radwanska no.3

Belinda Bencic, Agnieszka Radwanska and Roberta Vinci didn’t have the best run in Dubai … actually that was horrible or “not-existent”, but things got great in their rankings.

After a great run in St. Petersburg where Vinci won the tournament after defeating Bencic in the final, both players fell at the very first hurdle (… round) in Dubai. Agnieszka Radwanska didn’t even play that tournament, but all 3 have been “blessed” in the rankings.

Bencic

Belinda has gained 2 places to be ranked no.7 (career high) as Kvitova and a retired Pennetta lost some points after Dubai.

Vinci

Same story for Roberta that has gained 3 places after Suarez Navarro, Safarova and Venus Williams lost many points after last week. Roberta is now ranked no.10 (career high).

Radwanska

Even if Aga didn’t play in Dubai, she got back to world no.3 after Simona Halep crashed out in the opener in Dubai.

Schiavone

Can we ever forget about the Lioness? At 35 years of age, Francesca wins the tournament in Rio to climb 38 places and be back in the top100 (now 94)… not done yet…
