Djokovic reaches the quarterfinals in Paris

Novak Djokovic beats Jan-Lennard Struff in the fourth round of the French Open.

The 32-year-old beat Struff 6-3 6-2 6-2 in 1 hour 33 minutes.

Djokovic’s has not dropped a set in this year’s tournament yet. The Serb along with Nadal are favourites to win this year’s French Open. The world no.1, however, himself considers Nadal to be the favourite to win the tournament considering his top performances on clay.

The Match

In the first set, Djokovic converted his second break opportunity in the 8th game of the match and was ahead in the set by 5-3. In the next game, he held on his serve to win the set 6-3.

After this it was one-way traffic for Djokovic, he completely outclassed his opponent by winning 11 of the next 13 games.

In the 3rd set, the champion player got a double break and eased his way to win the set 6-2.

Struff had no answers for the supreme power and placement of the Serb. If Djokovic wins the French Open this year then he will create a unique record, he will become only the second man in history to claim all the four major titles at the same time.
