David Serrahima has joined Premier Padel, the premier professional padel tour in the world, as general manager, adding another important senior hire to the management team. The only cohesive global tour in professional padel today is Premier Padel.

Since the start of the year, Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) has entirely overhauled the tour’s management team in an effort to step up the initiative. David Serrahima is one of the leading sports executives in Spain, serving as Managing Director of the sports marketing company Octagon. He’ll continue to play a big part at Premier Padel while still holding down his existing position there to lead the project’s next phase of growth.

Serrahima is a member of the newly established Premier Padel Executive Committee, along with Vice President Luigi Carraro (who also holds the position of President of the International Padel Federation), CEO and QSI Senior Executive David Sugden, and Commercial Director Rob Mitchell. He will be responsible for managing the project’s strategy and supervising the entire 25-tournament tour, which is now happening in 17 different countries. He will pay particular attention to promoters, players, the international schedule, innovation, people, culture, and brand.

Concerning Premier Padel

Established by Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) in partnership with the Professional Padel Association (PPA) and the International Padel Federation (FIP), Premier Padel is the world’s premier official professional padel tour. Premier Padel tournaments, staged in some of the most iconic venues, including Paris’ Stade Roland-Garros, drew more than 500 players from around the globe in the competition’s inaugural year (2022), which was supported by the PPA.
