Despite Novak Djokovic having a tremendous tournament in Paris, his knee injury sustained at Roland Garros necessitated surgery, which will likely keep him from competing at Wimbledon. Immediately following his withdrawal from the Paris Major, the Serbian superstar underwent meniscus surgery and will require complete rest for a minimum of three weeks.
The doctor who operated on the Serbian tennis player, Antoine Girometta, recently discussed Djokovic’s actual health in an interview. He explained: “There was a certain urgency; Djokovic had to be operated on immediately. Considering the injury, I think what Djokovic did on the court was extraordinary. 99% of people would have gone to the emergency room. I have been transparent with his team and with Novak; it will depend on how his knee reacts.”
Djokovic’s attendance now looks extremely complex, with Wimbledon commencing on July 1. Thus, Djokovic’s experience at Roland Garros came to an unfortunate end. The Serbian champion had strong competition until a physical issue during the match against Argentine tennis player Cerundolo forced him to retire.

WLWWWWWWWW Ranked world no.3, the Serbian played his last match on the 3rd of June when he defeated world no.27 Francisco Cerundolo 6-1 5-7 3-6 7-5 6-3 in the 4th round of the French Open (draw).
At present, during this year Djokovic achieved a 18-6 record. Novak Djokovic’s most significant result of the present season was getting to the semifinal at the Australian Open, Monte Carlo and Geneva.
Djokovic will compete next at the Wimbledon (Wimbledon). He will start from the main draw that will commence on the 1st of July.
