Carlos Alcaraz won the 2024 French Open, and Novak Djokovic sincerely congratulated him. The 24-time Grand Slam champion praised the Spanish player for his remarkable all-surface feat.

Alcaraz won his first Roland-Garros title by defeating Alexander Zverev in a thrilling five-set match. The Spaniard’s victory has resulted in the breaking of numerous records and his inclusion in the records of the game’s legends.

Following his triumph, the 21-year-old posted a photo of himself holding the recognizable Musketeers’ Cup to his Instagram account. The recently proclaimed champion also gave a brief remark to convey his emotions and wrote: “What can I say.”

Djokovic left the three-time Grand Slam champion with some very kind words in the comments section of his post. The Serbian, who was forced to withdraw from the competition this year because of an injury, gave the 21-year-old praise for his amazing accomplishment of capturing a Grand Slam on every surface.

Djokovic commented: “Congratulations, Carlos. A slam on each surface. Incredible Job.”
