Carlos Alcaraz plans to get a tattoo of the Eiffel Tower after winning his first French Open title by defeating Alexander Zverev of Germany in five sets.
His favourite body art was a strawberry on his right ankle, which he got after defeating Novak Djokovic in a thrilling Wimbledon final last summer. He already knows the tattoo to look out for after the title win at the French Open.
Alcaraz already has a custom in place for acknowledging his Grand Slam victories. He got the date of his US Open victory tattooed on his bicep after winning.
Alcaraz said: “Wimbledon was the right one. Here is going to be the left one, I think, with the Eiffel Tower and the date of today. I don’t know if [I’ll get it done] next week or take a month or two, but I will do it. I have to find time, but I will do it, for sure.”
