Petra Kvitova had a rather horrible start of the year after retiring from the 1st round in Shenzhen and losing in the 2nd round in Melbourne.
The world no.7 has now decided to part ways with David Kotyza that has been her coach for 7 (very) successful years.
It was Petra to break the news o Facebook “After seven fantastic years together I will no longer be working with my coach David Kotyza. We had a great run together, winning two Wimbledons, 17 titles and enjoying many laughs. I would like to thank David for the many things he taught me both on and off the court and I wish him all the very best in the future”
Petra will announce the new coach in February.
