Daniil Medvedev has withdrawn from the upcoming Libema Open, also known as ‘s-Hertogenbosch, citing the need to rest his body after the European clay-court season. The tournament, a grass-court ATP 250 event, is scheduled to take place in Rosmalen on the outskirts of ‘s-Hertogenbosch from 10-16 June 2024.

Medvedev expressed his disappointment about missing this year’s event, stating that the Libéma Open is a great tournament and a good preparation for the grass season. He has, however, confirmed his participation in next year’s event.

This was his message: “I am obviously disappointed not to be able to participate. As I have often said in the past, the Libema Open is a great tournament and a good preparation for the grass season. Unfortunately, my body needs rest at the moment.”
