After Novak Djokovic’s incredible comeback victory over Lorenzo Musetti in their French Open third-round encounter, Jelena, the Serb’s wife, was overcome with excitement. Though Musetti had taken the lead against Djokovic two sets to one, the world No. 1 took over in the fourth set and won 7-5, 6-7(6), 2-6, 6-3, 6-0.
Djokovic took to social media following the incredible encounter, which ended after four hours and twenty-nine minutes and broke the record for the most late-night finish at Roland Garros.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion uploaded two pictures to his Instagram account in celebration; one showed Djokovic thanking the audience for their support and the other showed him roaring.
Djokovic posted on Instagram with a caption: “Thank you, Paris. Night to remember. R4: Here I come, #rolandgarros, #idemoo.”
Jelena commented on the post: “Au, this can make me scream; let’s go.”

At the moment ranked no.1, Djokovic has managed to achieve an overall 17-6 match record in 2024. Djokovic is currently having a run at the French Open where he toppled the world no.142 Pierre-Hugues Herbert 6-4 7-63, the world no.63 Roberto Carballes Baena 6-46-4 6-1 6-2
and the world no.30 Lorenzo Musetti 7-5 6-76 2-6 6-3 6-0.Novak Djokovic will face the world no.27 Francisco Cerundolo in the 4th round. In the past, they have never competed against each other up to now on the main tour.
