Roger Federer had a couple of easy matches in the first 2 rounds in Melbourne, but things will get extremely complicated in the 3rd when the Maestro will face Dimitrov.

Even if Roger has an encouraging 4-0 record against the Bulgarian  (he has dropped only 1 set during these encounters), Federer is not 100% comfortable in playing him.

Federer: He’s on a high

Few weeks ago Roger defeated Grigor in 3 sets in Brisbane and soon after Dimitrov lost the final in Sydney after squandering a championship point. Federer commented “I think he did well in Sydney, and that definitely also gave him a bit of a lift if he takes the positives out of the tournament, because wasting match point in a final is not a great thing.

He’s on a high right now. I think it’s a tough draw, to be honest. He’s got the game to be really dangerous.”

Dimitrov: This match can change my career

Grigor is looking forward to play Roger to comment “It’s a match that I want to play. You never know, one tournament can change everything for you. You never know when that might be.”
