In yet another dramatic moment at the 2024 French Open, Andrey Rublev lost his composure during his third-round match against Matteo Arnaldi of Italy on Friday afternoon.

Surprisingly, the sixth seed dropped the first two sets of the match, 7-6(6) 6-2, and struggled to adjust to the scoreline and his play as the match progressed from a difficult second to a decisive third.

As Arnaldi persisted in applying pressure from the back of the court, Rublev repeatedly kicked his bench and broke several of his racquets, hitting the ground. Many fans found the match to be difficult to watch, as Rublev appeared unable to control his emotions on yet another gloomy day.

Given that Rublev is renowned for his explosive outbursts, he chose to take up meditation during his match at the French Open. This video shows him meditating at the French Open; however, his performance didn’t go as planned as he lost to Arnaldi.
