Defending champion Novak Djokovic reflects on his successful performance in the first two rounds of the tournament. He admits to being challenged by Roberto Carballes Baena in the opening set of the second round by but managed to clinch it with a crucial break. Djokovic then dominated the second, third, and fourth sets, dictating the play and executing things correctly. Despite acknowledging that the matches will only get tougher, Djokovic expresses enjoyment in his current form and reiterates his goal of performing well in Grand Slams, having had fewer wins coming into Roland Garros than in the last five years of his career.

Djokovic is scheduled to compete next at the Wimbledon (Wimbledon). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 1st of July.
