At the 2024 French Open, Stefanos Tsitsipas is excited to compete in mixed doubles alongside his girlfriend Paula Badosa. On May 30, the two are scheduled to face Ena Shibahara and Nathaniel Lammons in the opening round.
Tsitsipas and Badosa began dating before the French Open last year, so they have already completed a year together. They had broken up earlier in May of this year, but they quickly got back together.
The pair are currently preparing for their first professional tour as a couple, starting with Roland Garros. Before his project with Badosa, Tsitsipas claimed in a recent interview that they made their own decision to try for the title in Paris.
Tsitsipas said in a recent interview: “Paris holds a special place for me and Paula; that’s where we had our first date right before Roland-Garros last year; our anniversary occurs here, so for us, it was a no-brainer to play our first mixed doubles in Roland-Garros.”
With victories over Daniel Altmaeir in the first round and Martin Fucsovics in the second, Tsitsipas has already progressed to the third round of the men’s singles tournament. Additionally, Badosa began her 2024 French Open campaign with a thrilling victory over Katie Boulter.

Now ranked no.9, the Greek achieved a compiled 26-9 win-loss record in 2024. The Greek is currently having a run at the French Open where he beat the world no.54 Marton Fucsovics 7-67 6-4 6-1 and the world no.83 Daniel Altmaier 6-3 6-2 6-72 6-4.
The Greek has won 1 title in 2024 in Monte-Carlo. The Greek was the runner-up in Barcelona (Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell).
Tsitsipas won 12 titles in his career: 1 on hard courts, 5 on clay courts, 5 on indoor courts and 1 on grass courts. (See the list of his titles)
Tsitsipas has scheduled to compete next in Halle (Terra Wortmann Open). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 17th of June.

Ranked no.139, Paula has achieved an overall 11-10 match record in 2024. The Spaniard is competing at the French Open where she defeated the world no.28 Katie Boulter 4-6 7-5 6-4 and the world no.39 Yulia Putintseva 4-6 6-1 7-5.
Paula Badosa will come up against the world no.2 Aryna Sabalenka in the 3rd round. Their current head to head is 4-2 for Sabalenka.
