Carlos Alcaraz says that he deosn’t need too many matches to get to his 100%. In a recent interview after his match against J.J. Wolf at Roland Garros, Alcaraz mentioned:
“I would’ve loved to play more matches but I don’t think I need many matches to get to my 100%. Four matches is too low.. I’m not gonna lie. But I did really good preparation the last 2 weeks before coming here. I’m really happy with the performance.”
This indicates that while he would have preferred more match practice, he feels confident in his ability to perform at his peak with fewer matches under his belt, thanks to his rigorous preparation.
