The Best Padel Awards recognize the top padel rackets and shoes on the market.

Bringing together players and businesses, the Best Padel honors have given eight honors to the top padel rackets and shoes. More than 300 laboratory experiments were carried out by Testea Pádel in cooperation with the Institute of Biomechanics and the ai2-UPV Institute to examine factors such as power, control, sweet zone, manageability, and ball output.

In the second edition of the Best Padel Awards, eight categories—five for padel rackets and three for shoes—were given out. By uniting the interests of players and brands, the awards have gained significant recognition in the padel sector.

In the context of the Padel World Summit in Malaga, the biggest event for professional paddle tennis players worldwide, Testea Pádel, in partnership with the Institute of Biomechanics (IBV) and the Institute of Automation and Industrial Computing (Instituto ai2) of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, has given out awards for the best padel rackets and shoes.

Following over 300 lab tests, the victors have the backing of science, technology, and the sports industry in addition to scientific expertise. ” Our goal is for the player to have a guide and a reference to know which products will best respond to what they need, in a totally scientific and objective way, based 100% on laboratory results ,” says Jordi Piedra, CEO by Testea Padel .

Tests have been conducted on the rackets from the Testea Pádel Laboratory of the ai2-UPV Institute in order to examine the five categories of award-winning rackets, including manageability, ball output, sweet zone, power, and control. ” The blades have gone through different tests to measure the characteristics of the game objectively: the moments of inertia in the different axes in an inertia test, the ball output in the low-speed pendulum station, the power in the of accelerated pendulum and the sweet spot with the robotic energy characterization station “, explains Toni Correcher, Researcher in charge of the Testea Padel Laboratory of the ai2 Institute.
