Novak Djokovic powered past Polish youngster Hubert Hurkacz in his first round match of the French Open.
Djokovic breezed through the match with a 6-4 6-2, 6-2 scoreline.
The Match
Djokovic broke the Polish youngster in the opening game and that was enough to win the first set 6-4.
In the second set, Djokovic broke Hurkacz thrice to win easily by 6-2.
The Serb broke twice in the first and the seventh game to easily claim the third set by 6-2
.It was an easy win for the world no.1 by 6-4 6-2 6-2
in 1 hour and 36 minutes.The 22-year-old Hurkacz was simply unable to stand against the brilliance of the Serbian in the match.
After the match the world no. 1 commented:
“I was very solid. I’m happy with my game today, it’s a long tournament… But I just want to concentrate on my next match.”
