Maria Sharapova had a rather bad start of the season after the Russian Beauty had to retire from Brisbane [injury]. That costed also the 4th place in the WTA rankings which means that Maria will be seeded no.5 at the Australian Open (and that’s not good for her).
It was Agnieszka Radwanska to take full advantage of Maria’s problems to be ranked no.4 after winning the tournament in Shenzhen.
