At the moment ranked no.10, Grigor played his last match on the 14th of May when he surrendered to world no.12 Taylor Fritz 6-2 6-7(11) 6-1 in the 4th round in Rome (draw).
This season Grigor has managed to achieve a composed 24-8 win-loss record. Grigor has won 1 title in Brisbane. Grigor was the finalist in Marseille and Miami.
Grigor Dimitrov will compete against the world no.88 Aleksandar Kovacevic in the 1st round on Sunday at 1:00 pm on Court 14. They have never played each other till now in top competitions.
Grigor conquered 1 title in 2024 in Brisbane. The Bulgarian was the runner-up in Marseille (Open 13 Provence) and in Miami (Miami Open).
