Carlos Alcaraz With A Disabled Tennis Player

Before the French Open, Carlos Alcaraz had a meeting with a disabled tennis player on the practice courts. Additionally, a video posted on social media shows how much the two men relished their battle. Despite having an arm injury in recent weeks, Alcaraz is one of the favourites to win this year’s French Open. He will take on a qualifier in the opening round of the competition.

Alcaraz has had a quiet few months since his arm problem kept him out of the Italian Open and clay-court competitions in Barcelona and Monte Carlo.

When he finally had a chance to play in the April Madrid Open, he lost to Andrey Rublev in the quarterfinals. And Alexander Zverev delivered another last-eight exit during the opening Grand Slam of the year in Australia.

However, Alcaraz seems eager to get started ahead of Roland Garros, which begins on Sunday. Additionally, he struck with French tennis player Arthur Delaye to get warmed up for the tournament.

Delaye posted a video of the rally on X and wrote: “Thank you, Carlos Alcaraz. Amazing practice despite my disability and cerebral palsy with @carlosalcaraz. I dreamt of this moment for a long time and it finally happened so thank you. @babolat. Thank you so much, Carlos, for your generosity, your smile and your kindness. #rolandgarros.”
