What Dayana Yastremska said

After the match, Yastremska commented

“You had two match points, the title in your hands, and then it’s just gone. Then you have to not put extra pressure on yourself, you have to forget, you have to remind yourself that the games continue. Next game, next point, next set.”

“Happy that I could find somewhere the passion, and the power, especially in the third set, when I was losing at 6-5. I felt really tired, I had a blister in my foot, it was bleeding and so painful. I’m proud of myself that I could find the power and just put everything into the game.”
