Funny Sascha Zverev says: “I am Jannik (Sinner)” during Rome trophy celebration

After defeating Nicolas Jarry in the championship match, Alexander Zverev made a lighthearted reference to Jannik Sinner in his victory speech at the 2024 Italian Open.

Zverev Funny

In his humorous victory speech at the 2024 Italian Open, Alexander Zverev brought up Jannik Sinner following his victory over Nicolas Jarry in the final match.

Alejandro Tabilo of Chile was defeated by Zverev in the semifinal, and at the news conference afterwards, he expressed his desire to win over the Italian supporters at the Foro Italico and asked for their support. Without the Italian, who is ranked second in the world, the spectators in the stadium have chanted for the German.

Zverev defeated Jarry 6-4, 7-5 in the Rome final, displaying a masterclass in service to deprive Jarry of his first-ever Masters 1000 victory. The German captured his sixth Masters 1000 title in the process.

During his winning speech at centre court, Zverev joked: “Buongiorno everyone, my name is Jannik [Sinner].”
