Former Novak Djokovic’s coach, Goran Ivanisevic, has had an in-depth conversation since splitting from the Serbian after the Indian Wells tournament. As a result of his early defeat, Djokovic split away from him.
Ivanisevic expressed his thoughts in a recent interview and said: “When you win everything, it’s not easy to stay motivated. Grand Slam tournaments are what matter most to him. He still has two weeks to concentrate. Novak doesn’t panic. He will find it, and he always does. Nothing will be able to stop him then. I hope he does.”
Djokovic enjoyed a respectable run to the Monte Carlo Masters semifinals after severing ties with his coach, but he was eliminated early again at the Rome Open. Alejandro Tabilo defeated the Serbian in straight sets, despite Djokovic’s longer preparation period.
Djokovic is currently preparing for the season’s second Grand Slam. He will now compete in the ATP Geneva Open, which is held immediately before the Slam, in an adjustment from his customary schedule.
Ivanisevic is optimistic about the Serbian player’s form going into the French Open. Ivanisevic further hopes that Djokovic maintains his positive mindset to attempt to win in Paris.
He further added: “Novak will be ready for Roland Garros. He wasn’t good on clay last year, but he still won in Paris. If he is mentally ready, he will win Roland Garros. And I think he will be motivated. Which would mean that Djokovic will win the tournament.”

WWWWLWWLWL Ranked world no.1, Novak played his last match on the 12th of May when he was defeated by world no.32 Alejandro Tabilo 6-2 6-3 in the 3rd round in Rome (draw).
Presently, during this year Novak has managed to achieve a 12-5 record. Novak Djokovic’s most significant performance of this year was reaching the semifinal at the Australian Open and Monte Carlo.
Novak won 99 titles in his career: 53 on hard courts, 19 on clay courts, 19 on indoor courts and 8 on grass courts. (See the list of his titles)
Djokovic has scheduled to compete next in Geneva (Gonet Geneva Open). He will start from the main draw that will commence on the 19th of May thanks to a wild card.
