Novak Djokovic has indeed accepted a wild card into the ATP 250 in Geneva next week. This move is seen as a strategic step to gain more match practice before the prestigious French Open. It’s quite rare to see Djokovic play in the week before a Slam, but it seems he’s looking to get some matches and confidence under his belt after some mixed results during the clay court season.

of May when he lost to world no.32 Alejandro Tabilo 6-2 6-3 in the 3rd round in Rome (draw).Currently, during this year Novak achieved a composed 12-5 record. Novak Djokovic’s most significant result of the present season was reaching the semifinal at the Australian Open and Monte Carlo.
Djokovic has scheduled to play next at the French Open (French Open). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 26th of May.
