Ivanovic happy in New Zealand

Ana Ivanovic is posed to have a great 2016.

The Serbian beauty has just landed in Auckland where she will play the ASB Classic, a tournament that she won already in 2014.

Ana was welcomed at the airport by tournament director Karl Budge “There’s such a homely feeling,” she commented. “The people are very friendly and Karl makes us feel welcome and my family is always here which is nice”

Ivanovic: It’s an important tournament

Ana commented “I feel very happy to be back, I had a great time here a couple of years ago. Not only I played well, but I had a great experience with some beaches and vineyards which was fun. It’s very important [to play at the Classic] because it’s the first tournament of the season and you want to do well.

I’m going to play doubles too, so I can get in the extra preparation. It will be nice to get some matches in, to get some confidence before the Aussie Open.”

Ivanovic is currently ranked no.16
