With four Grand Slam victories in her trophy collection, 22-year-old Iga Swiatek is ahead of her rivals. Former American tennis player Andy Roddick thinks Swiatek would rank among the greatest players.

After winning the Madrid Open for the first time, Swiatek made history by becoming the first player born in the 2000s to win 20 career titles. Additionally, since Caroline Wozniacki won those titles in 2012, she is the youngest ever to do so.

In a recent podcast, Roddick praised Swiatek for her accomplishments, even though she is only 22. Roddick stated his remarks about Swiatek and said: “Swiatek, four majors, nine Masters 1000 titles already. 20 total titles. You could chop her resume into a third, and I think she would still have it, however many, 100, or some odd weeks at number one, since Ash Barty retired and kind of handed the number one ranking over to her. Swiatek is on her way to becoming one of the best players of all time.”

Having already won three WTA titles, including two WTA 1000 Masters, Swiatek is having an incredible season. Her first significant victory occurred while competing in Qatar, where she won the championship after defeating Elena Rybakina 7-6, 6-2 in the final match. She then proceeded to defeat Maria Sakkari of Greece in the final game of the WTA 1000 event at Indian Wells, winning 6-4, 6-0. Swiatek won the Madrid Open after defeating Sabalenka 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 in her title match.
