Daniil Medvedev claims that he is not as good as Sinner, Alcaraz and Djokovic

Ahead of the year's second Grand Slam, Daniil Medvedev has admitted that he is not as skilled as some of the other players at the top of the circuit and that they have more possibilities to add trophies to their collection.

Medvedev Talks In An Interview

Daniil Medvedev has acknowledged that he is not as good as some of the other players at the top of the tour and that they have more opportunities to add to their collection of trophies ahead of the second Grand Slam of the year.

Medvedev expressed his remarks in a recent interview and said: “I think in every sport you can see it where you are up against someone really strong, and the moment you think maybe they become weaker, or at least you feel like it, new guys are coming that try to beat you and manage to do sometimes. For me, it’s a big challenge to try to beat these guys; Novak and Rafa are still there. I wanted to say only Novak, but no, Rafa is back. Let’s see how far he can go.”

He added: “Jannik, Carlos, and Novak, I feel like they are all better than me if we talk about peak performance; so for me, it’s a big challenge to try to beat them when I play them. I’m happy to take this challenge and make a big improvement on myself when I manage to beat them.”
