Roger Federer spends lot of time in Dubai especially during the off-season. The Swiss Maestro seems to be quite happy about this decision for various reasons.

Roger explained “For me it worked very well [being in Dubai] in terms of travelling as well out of Dubai. Of course, you may be a little bit far away from everything but you’re kind of close to everything because you’ve got a lot of direct flights.
In a perfect world as a tennis player it’s nice to have two bases. I’m very happy I took that decision and I’m sure it’s helped me in the process to be mentally more sane as well on the tour.
And it’s nice to see more players here, it’s good for me too. I can profit from that fact as well that more players come to Dubai now.”
